ABOUT US

Our professional practice offers a wide variety of physiotherapy services.

 

All consultations are one-on-one individual treatments. We focus on your needs and regaining your mobility and fitness as quickly as possible. The practice involves detailed assessment of all musculo-skeletal conditions with the object of creating individual treatment protocols.

Dr. Jan Naughton

Jan’s PhD. is from Sydney University in the speciality of shoulder injuries. She lectured at Sydney University in Kinesiology and in post graduate sports medicine. Jan completed her post graduate sports medicine at the University of London during which time she was physio to the national netball team & Kent County rugby club.

 

During the Sydney Olympics Jan was physiotherapist to a number of track & field teams working with the athletes in the main arena and at the Olympic village.

 

Jan has completed an advanced course in the temperomandibular joint (TMJ) which focuses on treatement for jaw patholgies, bruxing and grinding teeth leading to jaw pain.

 

Her physiotherapy practice focuses on rehabilitation for sports and general injuries.

Kate Spurway

Kate graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 with a Bachelors of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). Kate worked at St Vincents Hospital where she rotated through a number of different departments.

 

She has also worked for a number of rugby teams both domestically and internationally. Her interests lie in skiing, rugby, and water based activities. Additionally, Kate has established the aquatic physiotherapy program.

Kate is comfortable treating patients speaking English French or Spanish.

Veena Sullivan

Veena’s Masters in Physiotherapy is from Sydney University in exercise compliance. She lectured at Sydney University in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. Veena also has a graduate diploma in counselling. She served on the Board of Directors of the Arthritis Foundation and has been on the committee for continuing education with the APA (Australian Physiotherapy Association).

 

Her interest include pain management, musculo-skeletal dry needling and promoting good health & well being.
